Refund policy

Q: Under what circumstances are books refundable?

Any book supplied by ENGINEERS INDIA RESEARCH INSTITUTE in error or found to be defective upon delivery is eligible for return.

We do not accept returns for project reports, e-books, or consultancy services. Returns are applicable for physical books only and must be for items purchased directly from https://shop.eiriindia.org.

All return requests must be made within 2 days of delivery. Returned items must be in their original condition and suitable for resale.

Please note the following refund terms:

  • We accept returns for books, however:
  • Return shipping must be arranged and paid for by the customer.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • If any discount, promotional offer, or coupon was applied at the time of purchase, the refund will be adjusted accordingly.
  • All refunds and deductions will be calculated based on the total amount actually paid by the customer, not on the original list price.
  • Refunds will be processed only after the returned book is received and inspected.

Q: Under what circumstances are PROJECT REPORTS/E-BOOKS refundable?

Project Reports and E-Books are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable.

Due to the digital nature of these products and immediate access upon purchase, we do not process any returns, exchanges, or refunds for Project Reports or E-Books under any circumstances.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, you must notify us within 2 days of delivery.

Requests raised after 2 days will not be accepted under any circumstances.

To enable us to evaluate the issue, customers must provide clear photographs and relevant order details at the time of reporting. Approval of any return, replacement, or refund will be solely at the discretion of ENGINEERS INDIA RESEARCH INSTITUTE after review.

No claims will be entertained for:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Minor packaging damage that does not affect the product
  • Issues reported after the 2-day period

Any approved resolution (replacement or refund, if applicable) will be processed only after verification and in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.
